About Warmer

Most people can name maybe thirty countries. There are nearly two hundred. The gap is not intelligence — it is that nobody ever gave you a reason to care about Suriname on a Tuesday.

Warmer is a free daily geography game built to close that gap without feeling like homework. One mystery country a day. You guess, the globe runs warmer or colder, and you close in. It takes two minutes. Do it for a month and you will know where Suriname is — and, more surprisingly, what is next to it.

Why guessing beats memorizing

Staring at a map is one of the least effective ways to learn one. Warmer is built on three ideas that memory researchers have understood for decades, wrapped in something that feels like a game rather than a drill.

Making names stick

The hardest part of geography is rarely the map — it is the names. A few things Warmer does deliberately to make them stay:

The daily puzzle is the same for everyone, but people come for different reasons.

Free, and quiet about your data

Warmer is free, has no ads, and never asks for a password — sign-in is a code sent to your email, and only exists so your streak, passport, and review schedule follow you between devices. You can play anonymously forever; nothing is stored on our side until you choose to make an account.
