Multiplayer geography game: guess the country with friends

Most geography games are something you play alone. How to play geography with friends online

1. Create a room. Open Play with friends, type a name, and you get a short room code and an invite link.
2. Send the link. Drop it in a group chat, a text or a video call. Friends join from their own device, up to 8 players per room.
3. Race the same country. Every round, everyone gets the same hidden country. Guess, read the heat (blue is cold, red is hot), and close in before the timer runs out.
4. Score against the best. The best player each round scores 1000 and everyone else scores relative to them. A solve beats a near miss, fewer guesses beat more, and time only breaks ties, so every round stays competitive to the last second.
5. Win the match. After the last round, the highest total score tops the leaderboard, and the host can start a rematch with one tap.

Set the challenge for your group

• Easy: full clues plus distance and direction hints. Great for casual players and kids.
• Medium: clue tiles only. A balanced challenge.
• Hard: colors only, no clues. For map buffs who want a real test.

The host also picks the round timer (30 to 120 seconds) and 3, 5 or 7 rounds, so a match can be a quick burst between other things or a proper showdown.

A geography game for parties, classrooms and calls

• Game night. Everyone plays on their own phone, rounds are short, and on Easy kids often beat the adults, which is half the fun.
• Classrooms. A room starts in seconds and nobody needs an account, so a geography lesson turns into a tournament without any setup. Put the code on the board and go.
